The opening of the new business premises of AAVI Technologies Ltd. as well as the launching ceremony of AAVI’s new products was held on November 10 2016 in AAVI’s new industrial premises of 4,400 m2. The occasion was participated by the Chinese Ambassador Chen Li, the mayor of Helsinki Jussi Pajunen and the executive director of Uusimaa region Ossi Savolainen. Over 100 guests from the boards of Helsinki city, financial institutions, AAVI’s subcontractors and co-operators as well as media attended the opening. The inventor of AAVI’s air purification technology, Mr. Veikko Ilmasti participated as the guest of honour.
In his speech the new Ambassador Chen Li mentioned, that the event was the first official occasion he participated after leaving his mandate to the president of Finland. ”In my opinion it is remarkable to encourage the co-operation between Finland and China by taking part in this occasion, since it is also my responsibility as an ambassodor”, Li emphasized. ”AAVI Technologies is a great example of Chinese and Finnish companies co-operating by reaching their full potential. AAVI Technologies is not only a respond to the rising demand of Chinese markets but also an advocator of the ideology of healthy living”, he continued. Li congratulated AAVI for its success and expressed his hope, that through strong innovative work AAVI would be ready to answer the needs of the global world. In addition to this, the ambassador also hoped for growing reliance of customers towards the new products of AAVI.
”In many ways, the story of AAVI combines the key concepts for success in the future: Finnish knowledge combined with the opportunities of international business, including environmental technology and cleantech as core elements”, the city mayor of Helsinki Jussi Pajunen said during his speech. According to Pajunen, Helsinki wants to be a good city for all kinds of businesses, including industrial companies like AAVI.
Furthermore, the executive productor of Uusimaa region Ossi Savolainen reminded the audienced of how Chinese SNETS purchased AAVI and its technology with the aid of the Union of Uusimaa and Vantaa innovational institute. Savolainen stated this as an evidence of how regional and international co-operation results in forms of new work positions and global revenue. ”The growth of AAVI Technologies has been powerful, and further growth opportunities are almost limitless in China, Europe, and other parts of the world. All people need clean air, and the Simply Clean Air technology of AAVI is adaptable to both private and commercial premises”, pointed Savolainen.
Both Chen Li and Jussi Pajunen as well as Ossi Savolainen took part to the release of AAVI LEAF air purification product and the opening ceremony of the new premises. Participation for the factory tours was eager throughout the event.
